Interior & Exterior Painting
Fresh paint is the fastest way to fall back in love with your home — when it's done right. We spend our time where it counts: prep, patching, and clean lines that still look sharp years later.
A great paint job is one of the fastest, most affordable ways to transform a home - and one of the easiest places to spot a contractor cutting corners. At Cedar Ridge, we believe 80% of a beautiful finish happens before the brush ever touches the wall. So we take our time with the part nobody brags about: patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and masking.
We handle interior and exterior painting across Seattle's Eastside - from a single accent wall to a whole-home repaint, including ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets. Outside, we paint siding, trim, decks, fences, and front doors.
Our weather is hard on paint. Rain, damp, and UV break down a finish faster here than almost anywhere, so we use premium paints rated for the Northwest and prep exteriors properly - scraping, treating bare wood, and priming so your finish lasts seasons longer.
We'll help you land on colors you love, protect everything we're not painting, clean up at the end of every day, and leave you with crisp lines and a finish you'll be proud to show off.

A typical 3-bedroom home takes 3-5 days for a full interior repaint including prep work. A single room can usually be completed in a day. Cabinet painting takes longer due to multiple coats and drying time.
We primarily use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams - both offer excellent coverage, durability, and color accuracy. For exteriors, we use products specifically formulated for the Pacific Northwest climate.
Late spring through early fall (May-September) gives us the best conditions. We need dry weather and temperatures above 50°F for proper paint adhesion. We monitor weather closely and plan exterior projects accordingly.
